Humidity Indicator Cards (HICs) provide a low cost method of indicating humidity conditions inside a moisture barrier bag after vacuum packaging. The indicator spots on the HICs change color from blue to pink as humidity increases and from pink to blue as humidity decreases.
This is color reversible humidity indicator card that meets the requirements of military specifications MIL-1-8335 and MIL-P-116 method ii.
The colour of indicator dot turns, meaning that RH in the package has or had been reached the RH value of that dot. So it is easy for us to estimate the validity of desiccant so as to change desiccant in time. At present, humidity indicator cards are more and more applied in packages of electronics and optical components, which are sensitive to humidity, effectively improving the quality of products.
